Mayfair Book Fair Rewview

The Mayfair Mini Book Fair was an incredible success! We were honoured to have the Mayor of Westminster open the event, setting a wonderful tone for the day. Our all‑day readings and talks were warmly received, with a steady flow of visitors from morning right through to closing. More than a thousand people came through our doors, and the feedback forms were overwhelmingly positive.
The library staff were exceptional throughout, and they’re already keen to start conversations about next year’s fair. Thank you for all your wonderful support — this success truly belongs to the whole community.

Sangita Swechcha

Sangita Swechcha, based in Crawley, West Sussex, is a fiction writer. She is the author of Rose’s Odyssey, a short story collection, and the novel Seto Siundo (White Vermilion). She has also edited the literary collections The Himalayan Sunrise and A Glimpse Into My Country.
